[DLC] ANNOUNCEMENT: DLC IRC CHATROOM

Pardon the caps, but hey, I wanted to get your attention!  So after some 
futzing around (and getting a fair share of help from Brian), DLC is 
proud to present its very own IRC channel!  We are the proud owners of 
#dlc-irc on the server irc.freenode.net

For those of you that wish to use this new communication medium (ooh, 
big words), there are several methods available.

GAIM (2.0):
Add a new account, and from the protocol dropdown box, select IRC. 
Change the server to irc.freenode.net, then choose a screenname.  Click 
on save, and the account should then become active.  Two chat windows 
will appear; in either, type /join #dlc-irc to get into our chat room. 
Don't want to do that every time?  Once you're in the chat, select the 
conversation menu option, and select add, just like you were adding a 
buddy.  From then on, you can double click the 'buddy' to bring up the 
irc chat room.

Other clients:
Other clients include the ever popular mIRC client, or the more cross 
platform and GPL'd xchat.  Sadly, I don't have much experience with 
either of those, though I'm sure if anyone has questions, just hit the 
list and someone will be there to help!
