I have 2 part time Computer Lab Assistant positions available at Harold
Washington College.  I am looking for great candidates that can assist a
diverse group of students on using the computer.  The candidate will
need to have a basic understanding of the following:

Microsoft Excel 2007
Microsoft Word 2007
Microsoft Access 2007
Windows XP
Various Instructional Support Software (optional, but willing to be
trained on it is a plus.)

In addition, the lab assistant is responsible for the following:
Open and Closing Computer Classrooms
Monitoring the Open Computer Training Lab
Complete Lab Usage Report
Assisting Faculty and Staff on Technology in the Classroom
Facilitating Workshops (optional)


The position is part of the Teachers Union 1600 that pays $12.00/hour
with a maximum of 25 hours per week.

The hours of the lab for the fall is
Monday - Thursday 8 am to 9 pm
Friday - Friday 10 am to 7 pm
Saturday - 10 am to 3 pm

The schedule is flexible, but prefer consistent scheduled work time for
each semester.
