[DLC] New DLC Announce List!!

Hey All,

Last Quarter, we discussed how many just want to see when we have events,
and not see the many emails sent through our discussion list. To eliminate
this issue, we now have a new announce list, DLC-Announce. I'm in the
process of configuring it, however, there will be a few important things to
note on this change:

A) We will no longer have announcements on the DLC list, all will be on the
DLC-Annouce list. All announcements will come from DLC-Announce starting
next week. If you're an outside group and want to announce, you'll also have
to announce here. Email depaullinux at gmail.com for more information, or if
you have any questions about this.

B) All addresses on the DLC General list will be subscribed to the Announce
list. If you DO NOT want to be on this list, please email DLC at
depaullinux at gmail.com before the *end of the weekend*! If you don't check
your email often, or are late on this...DO NOT email the new list to be
unsubscribed!! Either go to the information page here
http://mailman.depaul.edu/mailman/listinfo/dlc-announce to unsubscribe, or
email depaullinux at gmail.com!!  I repeat, DO NOT email the DLC-Annouce to
unsubscribe!

C) This list will still exist for discussion of the organization and open
source. However, if you only want to be subscribed to DLC-Annouce, feel free
to also contact me at depaullinux at gmail.com or, go to the
http://mailman.depaul.edu/mailman/listinfo/dlc to unsubscribe. I'm going to
repeat this for those who didn't get it above, but DO NOT email this list
"requesting to be unsubscribed." You will not get unsubscribed, and you'll
also be frowned upon (as no other member wants your unsubscribe request in
their inbox!!). If you want to unsubscirbe, again, ethier go to
http://mailman.depaul.edu/mailman/listinfo/dlc or email DLC at
depaullinux at gmail.com!
