I was using a much older version of Kubuntu in a VM and did a version
update and it's giving me nothing but issues (bad lag and the trash is
full even after emptied).  Is there any simple way to fix this, or
should I backup files and do a fresh install of the newest version?

Has anyone used the most recent version of Kubuntu in a VM?  Does KDE4
play well with VMware?
