Principal Duties and Responsibilities: (25% of time) Provide academic advising services to undergraduate Commerce students including: academic curriculum planning, academic standing review, degree progress review, major/minor selection, university policy interpretation and policy exceptions. (25% of time) Assist with the evaluation and processing of Commerce student petitions, forms, and applications including: major and minor declarations, degree conferral applications, and closed-class requests. (25% of time) Assist the advising staff in the completion of project-related work including: probation student outreach, new student orientation, student development workshops, degree conferral, and student athletics. (25% of time) Provide general support services to the Commerce Undergraduate Program Office including front desk and phone coverage. All duties listed above represent approximate values for time and priorityactual time use will vary according to the needs of the office.
