The International Computing Centre is seeking several Systems Administrators (P-3)
for its Windows and Unix-based environments. Experience and competency with both
Windows and Unix Systems is an advantage but is not mandatory. The successful
candidate will identify and troubleshoot technical problems and document solutions;
maintain the ICC knowledge base for technical issues relative to the responsibility of
the Unit; perform required tasks in maintenance windows; provide stand-by services
on a rotation basis during weekends, holidays and outside of normal working hours;
assist in the administration and support of other platforms as required; and perform
other duties as required. REQUIRES: University degree in computer or information
science, mathematics or related field. Windows specific: Microsoft Certified Systems
Engineer (MCSE) certified. ITIL Foundation Certificate is desirable. Good knowledge
of scripting for monitoring, task automation, etc. Five years or more of professional
