<div dir="ltr">Good morning, Kristen. I am writing this morning on behalf of Northeastern's Dean of the College of Education and the Chicago Area Deans of Education. The group has asked me to work with you on the Student Teaching Renewal Agreement that was distributed August 13, 2014 with the directive that it be returned by August 25, 2014 for fall student teachers placed in CPS Schools. This turnaround presents a challenge for the Deans, as the Renewal Agreement entails some significant changes from prior agreements.<div>
<br></div><div>As a preliminary matter, please consider Northeastern's request for additional time, until September 15, 2014, to review the Student Teaching Renewal Agreement and propose any changes that the Chicago Area Deans of Education consider appropriate. </div>
<div><br></div><div>As a side note, I spent several years wonderful and rewarding years in the Law Department. I worked for Joe Moriarty and Jim Ciesil under the leadership of Pat Rocks and your GC, James Bebley. I hope you are having as terrific an experience there as I did.</div>
