Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the end of the Korean War

=93 Veterans of the =91Forgotten War=92 Share Their Stories, Reflect on =
the
Past, Teach the Present Generation=94

The public program will honor all those who served in the Korean War, with
a focus on the African-American experience.  The program will feature
segments from the recently released documentary Korea: The Unfinished War, =
produced by Minnesota Public Radio=92s documentary unit American RadioWorks=
. (Korea: The Unfinished War will also be broadcasted in Chicago on WBEZ =
91.5 FM at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27.) The program will also feature =
African-American veterans from the Korean War who will speak about their =
wartime experiences and answer questions.  The Veterans History Project =
will show how veterans and home-front workers can participate in a growing =
collection of veterans=92 stories at the American Folklife Center, Library
of Congress.
