The Princeton Review believes that the best instructors aren't just those who can score well on the MCAT, or even just one particular section of the MCAT. Our instructors are experts in their field, and for the verbal reasoning section of the exam, we staff almost exclusively graduate students in the humanities. With efficient and effective reading analysis as a foundation, our training teaches prospective instructors how to apply these skills to the MCAT.
The job starts at $20/per hour; prep time is paid; instructors usually teach anywhere from 2.510 hours a week; teaching experience is preferred but not required; if an individual has taken the MCAT, the minimum score requirement is 10 for the subject the instructor would be teaching; graduate students (including those who have not taken the MCAT) are always welcome to apply. All course materials, including in-class passages and homework assignments are provided. All prospective teachers need to bring to the table are exceptional reading and reasoning skills and the ability to actively engage and interact with the students.
Auditioning/interviewing in Chicago will take place in the next few weeks. If you are interested, contact:
