Hello! My name is Dr. Karen Scott, and I teach Medieval and Renaissance
history at DePaul.
I wanted to bring to your attention a graduate seminar that I will be
teaching this fall on a special schedule (begins end of September, ends
in December) at the Newberry Library. The course is on medieval saints
and mystics. It is open to graduate students from a variety of
universities that belong to a consortium of schools, both local and
beyond. The course will use resources of the library.
If you would like more detailed information about this course, including
a tentative syllabus, you can to this website:
http://www.newberry.org/renaissance/consortium/scott.htm
Registration in this course requires "consent of the instructor." So if
you are interested, please contact me, and I'd love to meet with you.
Best wishes for a happy end of summer!
Dr. Scott
