The Translation and Formatting Services division of
the Center on Outcomes, Research and Education at
Evanston Northwestern Healthcare seeks candidates for
the following position.
Project Coordinator
The purpose of this job is: to coordinate the foreign
language development of health related quality of life
questionnaires according to a rigorous methodology.
Main responsibilities for this position include but
are not limited to: translation coordination oversight
from beginning until completion, quality control
reviewing of translations including written feedback,
arranging pilot testing and heavy communication with
translators and pilot testing sites worldwide. Full

Qualities/experience sought:
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and
responsiveness to deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with
a variety of staff, faculty, researchers and
international business contacts
Ability to work independently, take initiative and
handle quickly shifting priorities
Must have knowledge of MS Office 97 and 2000, Windows
98, strong Word and Access skills, Adobe Acrobat
including PDF, and Adobe FrameMaker
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 2 years experience in a relevant field, 4
years preferred. (Project coordination, translation,
vendor/client relations)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Knowledge of a foreign language and/or experience with
foreign travel required.
