Hello,

As most of you know Dr. Goffman has been out of the office since the
beginning of the quarter due to health conditions.  I know a lot of you
are interested in knowing how he is doing or would like to send him a
message.  I have set up a link on the history homepage
http://condor.depaul.edu/~history which has a link to carepages.
Carepages is a place where Dr. Goffman's family posts messages updating
his condition and also allows outsiders to post messages on the message
board.  Please pass the word around.  Here is the link to carepages for
