[Grad_history_students] how do you get to campus?

Dear students,
The university is in the process of negotiating a new contract with the
CTA for U-Passes, discounted fixed-rate passes that allow full-time
students unlimited ridership on CTA Trains and Buses.
http://is.depaul.edu/security/cards_passes/cta_upass.asp
LAS graduate students have not previously been included in the U-Pass
contract. If they are included this time, it would mean that *all* grad
students in LAS would be charged a fee for the pass whether they used it
or not. http://is.depaul.edu/security/cards_passes/fees.asp
So, my questions to you are:
1) How frequently in an average week do you ride CTA buses and/or
trains?
2) Are you a full-time student (8 units/quarter)?
3) Knowing that all LAS grad students would be charged an additional fee
(currently $57.50/quarter) for a U-Pass, do you think the university
should negotiate a deal with the CTA that would provide U-Passes to LAS
graduate students?
Please email me your response by the end of the week, by Friday, March
9th).
Thanks,
Roshanna P. Sylvester, Ph.D.
