Friends,

The Union League Club of Chicago (www.ulcc.org <http://www.ulcc.org/> ) is
privileged to host a very special symposium on March 4, 2011, celebrating
the 150th Anniversary of the Inauguration of Abraham Lincoln. This program
brings together five of our nation's foremost Lincoln scholars - Dr. Michael
Burlingame, Dr. Thomas Schwartz, Mr. Daniel Weinberg, Dr. Douglas Wilson,
and Dr. David Zarefsky - plus dozens of rare and precious artifacts.
Attendance for all sessions, including the luncheon, costs $45. The student
rate is $30.

This program will be recorded for later broadcast by C-SPAN and the Illinois
Channel. It is presented in partnership with the:

* Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum

*          Chicago History Museum

*          Chicago Public Library

* Civil War Round Table of Chicago

*          Lincoln Academy of Illinois

*          Newberry Library

*          Pritzker Military Library

* Union League Club of Chicago

For program details or to register, please see the attached document or
visit www.ulcc.org/files/lincoln.pdf. For further information, please
contact the Public Affairs Office of the Union League Club at
PublicAffairs at ulcc.org or (312) 435-5946.

I hope you will be able to join us for this extraordinary program.

Sincerely,

Brian Daley

Public Affairs Committee
