The Chicago Humanities Festival, in partnership with the Baskes Family, is
pleased to offer a special graduate student round table with Princeton
historian *Anthony
Grafton*<http://www.chicagohumanities.org/Genres/History/2011f-The-Book-Past-Present-Future-Anthony-Grafton.aspx>.
Grafton will be visiting Chicago to lecture on "The Book: Past, Present, and
Future," on Saturday, November 12 at 1 pm. Following his lecture, area
graduate students are invited to a special round table discussion with him
and CHF Artistic Director Matti Bunzl to discuss the role of the historian
in contemporary society.

*Interested graduate students should email a paragraph-long biography
including their area/s of research along with a question they'd like to pose
during the round table to education at chfestival.org by October 1. *Further
information is included in the attached flyer. Space is limited, so students
are encouraged to apply early!
