Subject: Research Internship Opportunity at WTTW

Hi,

Producers Dan Protess and Geoffrey Baer of WTTW are looking for research
interns for this late spring and summer. We have had many excellent
interns from the Chicago History program at the University of Chicago
and hope that you might be able to share these postings with other
interested students.

We are currently working on a national production called "10 Buildings
That Changed The World." This production will feature architecture
from around the US that has impacted and contributed to modern
architecture. The producers are in need of two interns to help with the
research needed for this production. Interested students should apply
by 2/20/12.

Also, Geoffrey Baer has a weekly feature on WTTW's nightly news and
public affairs program Chicago Tonight in which he answers viewer
questions about architecture and history in Chicago. He is also
looking for one or two interns for this as well. Interested students
should apply by 3/1/12.

I have attached the internship descriptions. They can also be found at
www.wttw.com/jobs under Local Production. We will be accepting resumes
and cover letters from interested students who are currently enrolled in
school or recently graduated (within 11 months of graduation.) We
require at least 16 hours per week, more during the summer session.
These are unpaid internships. Please tell interested students to submit
their cover letters and resumes to my attention as soon as possible.
(The producers would like to lock-in their summer interns before leaving
for on-location production in the spring.)

Thank you for extending this opportunity to your students.

Carmen
