INTERNSHIPS
Once again the U.S. Department of State is accepting applications for internships both in Washington, D.C. and at Embassies and Consulates overseas. These internships are available in the summer, fall and spring. All application materials are available on the State Department website www.state.gov (employment, student programs).
Deadlines are November 1 for summer internships, March 1 for fall and July 1 for spring.

Eligibility requirements include the following:
Only United States citizens will be considered.
Applicants must be in the sophomore year of undergraduate study.
Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale at the time of application.
A cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale must be maintained throughout participation in the program.
The complete FAF application packet consists of an official application form and all supporting documents (personal statement, Employment Data Form; SAT Form; certification of citizenship; two letters of recommendation; official academic transcript and financial aid transcript). http://www.woodrow.org/public-policy/apply.html
The 2004 application will be available after November 28.
