[History_students] First Annual Student History Conference at DePaul--Call for Submissions

First Annual Student History Conference

Deadline for submissions: Monday, 4 April 2005

The Department of History invites students to submit papers for
presentation at the First Annual Student History Conference at DePaul
University. This conference will be held on 29 April, and the faculty of
the department welcome submissions of papers on historical subjects
prepared in any undergraduate or graduate classes at DePaul University
during the 2004 calendar year as well as winter quarter 2004-5. Prizes
will be awarded for the best undergraduate submissions in several
categories, and for the best graduate submission. 

All submissions should include a cover sheet which is also available in
the Department of History office in SAC 420. The recommended length for
submissions is 8 to 10 pages for undergraduates and 12 to 15 pages for
graduates. You should submit one computer file (preferably in MSWord) as
well as three hard copies of your paper. 


The deadline for submissions is Monday, 4 April 2005. Please deliver
submissions to the main office of the Department of History (SAC 420).
