CMHEC is currently seeking judges for the 2008 History Fair.    

 

The History Fair is a vital component of history education for students
in grades 6-12 from schools in Cook, Lake and Du Page Counties.
Students create research papers, exhibits, documentaries or performances
on topics in Chicago and Illinois history, which are judged by
volunteers who come from all sectors of the community. 

 

If you want to be a part of a "good news" educational program that has
inspired Chicago area students for over two decades, we invite you and
your colleagues to be a History Fair judge.   Judging the History Fair
is an excellent opportunity for pre-service teachers and history majors.
