Paris in the spring time? Sign me up!
Now is a great time to start thinking about studying abroad. DePaul's study abroad program in Paris will depart next April and stay through June. Studying French language, comparative politics and French art history, students can use these credits to help fulfill major, minor, elective credit, as well as learning domains such as the Self, Society Modern World and Junior Year Experiential Learning requirements. Students take classes at Alliance Française, an international language school, which is in the heart of Paris near the Latin Quarter. For full immersion, students live with French families in a homestay experience.
Learn more about the program, such as costs, courses and excursions, by coming to an information session on either May 26 or May 27, from 3-5pm in room 2212 of 990 W. Fullerton. Dr. Michael Mezey, who will be the 2011 Paris faculty director, will be there to talk more about his class, PSC 250 - West European Politics (SSMW), along with past Paris participants who can speak more to what a typical day would be like on this program. Feel free to drop by anytime!
You can read more about the program here, and also apply online. Applications are due October 15!
