[History_students] IMPORTANT information inside!

Dear Intrepid Historians,

 

I am writing to ask you to SAVE THE DATES!  As historians, it is our
responsibility...nay, our obligation to SAVE THE DATES!  I am asking
that you save the following two dates in particular.  Both dates are on
Fridays.  Two weeks from today, October 29, we will have our
pre-Halloween fest...okay, you can dress up, but we are actually meeting
in the university library for a presentation about our St. Vincent
DePaul collection of documents and memorabilia.  Father Ed Udovic, a
member of our History faculty and the university librarian (as well as
master eBay-er), will discuss the treasures the university has acquired.
More on this event soon.  In the meantime, write down (in ink!) the
date.  We will meet from 3:00-5:30.  And, yes, food and beverages are
included!!!!

 

The second date is four weeks from today, November 12, 3:00-4:30.  It's
the rescheduled department "meet-and-greet" also (now) known as our
"great end-of-the-quarter bash."  It will be held in the History
Department hallway on 4th floor SAC.  Your professors and our wonderful
staff will be there.  Pizza, pop, etc. will be served.

 

So, do your part as historians.  SAVE THE DATES!
