[History_students] IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ!!!

Dear Intrepid Historians,

 

PLEASE READ the following....

 

Remember that the 5th Annual Student History Conference will take place
this Friday, April 24, all day in the third floor of the Student Center.

 

Could I ask you to consider showing up at the early part of the
conference, especially?  We need a strong (VERY strong) student and
faculty turn-out at the 9:00 a.m. opening ceremonies to the History
Conference this Friday.  It's in the third floor, room 314, of the
Student Center and will begin promptly.

 

In addition to our own intrepid leader, Dr. Schultz, both Dean Suchar
and Provost Epp will be there to represent the college and university,
respectively, and to help kick-off our fifth annual conference.  A
strong showing of our faculty and students would be very important and
illustrate, again, the importance of the work of all of you, our
students, and the department.  The ceremony should end around 9:20.  If
you are on the way to class or presenting a paper in one of the early
sessions, please consider stopping in.  

 

So, again, please put this on your calendar as a "high priority" item.
And, don't forget to visit our day's panels and support your friends and
peers.
