Hello everyone,
 
Roosevelt University, with the support of DePaul's Department of Teacher
Education, will host a conference from May 28-31 devoted to labor
history and social justice issues entitled "Race, Labor and the City:
Crises Old and New" that may be of interest to many of you.  Scholars
and activists from across the country and overseas will hold sessions
focusing on labor history, contemporary organizing issues, and social
justice campaigns.  This is a great opportunity to hear some of the
leading scholars in their fields as well as community organizers from
Chicago and elsewhere.  I am on the conference's steering committee and
would be happy to answer any questions, so please contact me with
queries.  I've attached a flier that provides further information.
