[History_students] AHA registration fees

The annual meeting of the American Historical Association will be held
in Chicago January 5-8, 2012. The history department will cover
registration fees for the AHA for some students, provided you submit the
necessary paperwork to Onie Green-Givens by December 1, 2011. The
department will cover, on a first-come-first-served basis, registration
fees for up to 50 undergraduate and up to 10 graduate students.
("Reservations" will not be held. Students will need to submit the
completed paperwork to secure a spot.)

 

If you would like to attend the AHA, please complete the attached form
and submit it to Onie Green-Givens in the main office of the History
Department by December 1, leaving the payment area blank. We will be
submitting registration forms with payment to the AHA. You will receive
confirmation of registration directly from the AHA.

 

The department will only be able to cover the conference registration
fee. If you wish to attend an optional luncheon or tour, please submit
to Onie Green-Givens, with your form, a check made out to the AHA for
the amount of that luncheon or tour.
