opportunity to apply for seats at the Chicago Humanities Festival
graduate student roundtable to be held this year with Anthony Grafton.

Historian Anthony Grafton

 

The Chicago Humanities Festival, in partnership with the Baskes Family,
is pleased to offer a special graduate student round table with
Princeton historian Anthony Grafton. Grafton will be visiting Chicago to
lecture on "The Book: Past, Present, and Future," on Saturday, November
12 at 1 pm. Following his lecture, area graduate students are invited to
a special round table discussion with him and CHF Artistic Director
Matti Bunzl to discuss the role of the historian in contemporary
society. 

Interested graduate students should email a paragraph-long biography
including their area/s of research along with a question they'd like to
pose during the round table to education at chfestival.org by October 1.
Further information is included in the attached flyer. Space is limited,
so students are encouraged to apply early!
